Extension Care Guide

Method-specific guidance for a longer wear.

Daily Handling

  • Brush in sections, holding above the bond as you go.
  • Avoid conditioner or oil directly at the attachment point.
  • Detangle from the ends first, working up to the roots.

Heat & Styling

  • Keep hot tools under 350°F near bonds and wefts.
  • Let curls and waves cool before brushing through.

Sleeping & Swimming

  • Loose braid at night to prevent matting at the base.
  • Rinse with fresh water before and after the pool or ocean.

Move-Up Schedule

  • Tape-In & Weft: reposition every 6–8 weeks.
  • Mesh Integrations & Combline: check-in every 8–10 weeks.
  • Book your move-up before it's overdue — ask us for a reminder.
